This coming Sunday we will be gathering for worship at 9am on “The Barge”. We will be focusing our time on Mark 2.1-12. In this passage we find Jesus preaching in a home in Capernaum, and there were so many people in the house that no additional people could come in to hear Jesus. At the same time four people decided that a paralyzed man needed to be brought to Jesus —– yet they could not get him into the house. They decided to bring him up on the roof, and take the roof off the house, and lower him down. What faith! The agency that is found in these four friends who bring the man on the roof causes Jesus to be moved with compassion and heal the man. Let’s gather together and learn more about the faith that causes us to remove the roof.
