This coming Sunday we will be gathering for worship at 9am at our temporary location of 5th Avenue Church fellowship hall (409 S. 5th Avenue – downtown Wilmington).  We will be focusing our time on Ecclesiastes 3.1-15.  In this passage we are introduced to the famous passage that comes from this book.  Most people will recognize this from a famous song called “Turn, Turn, Turn”.  There is a time and a season for everything under heaven, but again Solomon wants to say: “What’s the point in knowing the seasons?”  For again it is all vanity and a chasing after the wind.  But Solomon wants people to find pleasure in the basic things of life — eating and work.  And in that he believes we can find a sense of purpose and fulfillment.  Let’s gather together and learn more from this great philosopher called Solomon.
