This coming Sunday we will be gathering for worship on “The Barge” at 9am. We will be focusing our time on Genesis 2.18-25. In this passage we find that Adam is introduced to Eve for the first time and says: “You are bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh.” This is the human response. It is the response that we have when we hear and are heard from another. In the sharing of stories our hearts are knit together and we find a common-union. Here at “The Anchor” we are people of story and we share from the vulnerable place of hearing and being heard. On Sunday we will gather around to hear of what the Lord is doing in our common-union in the community. Let us gather, so that the Holy Spirit will continue to knit our hearts together in unity and love.
