This coming Sunday we will be gathering for worship at 9am on “The Barge”. We will be beginning a journey looking at how we all have an old story and now Christ offers us a new story. This Sunday we will be looking at Luke 15.11-32 and how the prodigal took the inheritance and squandered all of it on shallow relationships. We will be setting the tone for the coming months of how the prodigal son found himself in need after wasting all of what his father had provided him. This is the story of what we see in Wilmington. Countless people have come here and squandered all that they have been given, and we need to acknowledge this reality. This reality check will then let us look at the new story that Jesus offers to us as he commissions us for the good work of sharing the gospel message. All are invited.
