Jesus Sat On It

This coming Sunday we will be gathering for worship at 9am on “The Barge”. We will be focusing our time on Mark 11.1-11. This is traditionally known as Jesus’ triumphal into Jerusalem. Jesus instructs his disciples to get a colt for him to ride on and then he sits on it. This reminds the Jewish people of the great kings of the past. But Jesus comes and his Kingdom is inaugurated in a different way —— for it is the way of self-sacrifice and self-surrender. Let’s gather together and learn more about this Kingdom that is found in Jesus Christ.
