We will be gathering for worship on Sunday at 9am at Temple of Israel (1 S. 4th Street). We will be focusing on Jeremiah 14.11-16. In this passage we are introduced to the tension that Jeremiah experiences with the lying prophets (verse 14). They were prophesying peace and prosperity, and Jeremiah was prophesying the deportation of Judah to Babylon. God goes on to explain to Jeremiah that the lies of these prophets will actually bring the wickedness of the lie on the city of Jerusalem (verse 16). Let’s gather together and learn more about the speaking of truth even when it is uncomfortable and not welcomed.
