I Believe; Help My Unbelief

This coming Sunday we will be gathering for worship at 9am on “The Barge”. We will be focusing our time on 9.14-29. In this passage we are introduced to a father and son. The father comes and pleads with Jesus to heal his son —— for his son had been ravaged by a spirit that caused him to have seizures, throwing him to the ground, grinding his teeth, foaming at the mouth, and had made him mute (v18). Jesus says to the father: “All things can be done for the one who believes” (v23). The father goes on to say that he believes —– but there are still areas of his life that he has unbelief —— and he asks Jesus for help with his unbelief. Let’s gather together and learn more about what belief is and how we are to talk out what we believe in faith.
