Forgiveness

This coming Sunday we will be gathering for worship at 9am on “The Barge”. We will be focusing our time on Romans 5.6-11. This is a continuation of our study on The Lord’s Supper. We began by learning about confession, and then last week we learned about repentance. This is the way that God has designed for us to get cleaned up in preparation for dinner. This way of living then aligns us with the forgiveness that God has given to us —— specifically a forgiveness that is extended to us through Christ’s death on the cross. We pray every week “forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.” Let’s gather and learn how Christ’s forgiveness is interwoven with our own forgiving of others, and how that extension of forgiveness creates space at the table.
