Confession

This coming Sunday we will be gathering for worship at 9am on “The Barge”. We will be focusing our time on 1 John 1.5-10. This is a continuation of our study on the Lord’s Supper. Our study will begin with a deep look at confession. It says in 1 John 1.5 says: “If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Notice the word “if”. That means that the latter part of that verse is contingent upon the earlier part of that verse. Confession is intricately woven together with forgiveness. Let’s gather together and learn more about the cleansing qualities of confession and what the Lord is calling us to be as a people that have sinned.
