This coming Sunday we will be gathering for worship at 9am on “The Barge”. We will be focusing our time on Luke 15.11-32. In this passage we find the youngest son in a situation where he doesn’t have any other choice then to sell himself into a slave-like situation. He gives himself over to a pig farmer and wallows in the absence that is found in this desperate act that creates despair and hunger. All are invited to come and take this last look at the story of the prodigal as we continue our look at Old Story / New Story. Next week we will begin looking at Luke 10.1-12.
