This coming Sunday we will be gathering for worship at 9am on “The Barge” (106 S. Water Street – downtown Wilmington). We will be focusing our time on 1 Corinthians 11.23-26. In this passage the Apostle Paul shares with us what he received from the Lord. Paul experienced the presence of the risen Christ, and in that encounter he received instructions on the Lord’s Supper. This now has been handed on to us and we are instructed to partake of this meal in remembrance of Jesus. But, what are we to remember? How are we to remember? Who are we to be with when we remember? As we continue on this journey of looking closely at the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper, let us do it together. Let’s share in our common-union of being a people that remembers.
