This coming Sunday we will be going back to “The Barge” for our worship gathering at 9am. We will be focusing our time on Ecclesiastes 7.1-14. Here we find Solomon discussing the vanity that is found in “hearing the song of fools” (v5). This is a cautionary word about receiving praise (and seeking praise). This seeking / receiving is also vanity and will lead to destruction. We can only avoid this destruction by seeking instead what the Lord is doing and considering that (v13). Adversity will come (v14) —– but God is the one who makes the crooked path straight. Let’s gather together and learn mor about the life of seeking after the Lord.
