This coming Sunday we will be gathering for worship at 9am at our temporary location of 5th Avenue Church’s fellowship hall (409 S. 5th Avenue). We will be focusing our time on Psalm 50. In verse 5 God says: “Gather to me my faithful ones, who made a covenant with me by sacrifice!” This time of year we consider what our year has been and we consider what our next year can be. We will be taking time to reflect on our last year, and consider what promises we want to make to God in the next year. This is a moment that is holy and authentic. It is a moment that allows us to be real with ourselves and with God. As we gather together, let us gather as God’s faithful ones have for centuries. And let us make this holy commitment.
