This coming Sunday at 9am, we will be gathering for worship in the fellowship hall of 5th Avenue Church (409 S. 5th Avenue – downtown Wilmington). This is our temporary worship location for the month of December, until “The Barge” is repaired. We will be focusing our time on Matthew 25.31-46. In this passage the King says: “I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.” The King made himself known in those who were sick and those in prison —— and there were some folks who cared and some folks that didn’t care. In that care or in that lack of care, it was all done to Jesus. As we conclude our time in Matthew 25.31-46 ——- let us prayerfully consider how we can be a people that are known for participating in God’s grace.
