This coming Sunday we will be gathering for worship on “The Barge” at 9am. We will be focusing our time on Matthew 25.31-46. In this passage Jesus aligns himself with those who are thirsty. He says: “When I was thirsty, you gave me something to drink.” We get to experience God’s grace in our thirst —— where sisters & brothers in Christ help to quench our thirst. But we also get to experience God’s grace by giving a cup of cold water in the name of Jesus. In this action of sharing what we have —— we are participating with the Holy Spirit. God is active and alive in the earth —– and we get the amazing opportunity to share in God’s good work. Let us gather together and learn more about what it means to quench thirst.
