This coming Sunday we will be gathering for worship at 9am on “The Barge”. We will be focusing our time on 1 John 5.1-5. In this passage we learn that it is our faith that overcomes the world. And this faith is based on Jesus being the Son of God. Please know, this doesn’t mean that if we just get our thinking right that we then have faith —— instead this faith is lived out in the action of loving God and loving our neighbor. In that action of love we reveal what our faith is. For the action of faith reveals that we believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Let’s gather together and learn more about the victory that is found in Christ’s life, death, and resurrection.
