This coming Sunday we will be gathering for worship at 9am on “The Barge”. We will be focusing our time on 1 John 4.7-21. In this passage we learn that God is love and we are to abide in God as we abide in God’s love. Interestingly, John makes the case that no one has ever seen God, yet we have seen each other. If we have seen each other and do not love one another, then we do not know love and we do not know God. This love has to be tangible and real as we express it to each other. In this we can know that God’s love abides in us as we love one another. Let’s gather together and learn more about how to be a community of faith founded on abiding in God’s love.
