This coming Sunday we will be gathering for worship at 9am on “The Barge”. We will be focusing our time on 1 John 4.1-6. In this passage we learn that those who come and declare that Jesus did not come in the flesh is not from God —– actually that person would be anti-Christ. During this time in history it was important for the Johnnine community to be concerned to declare that God came in the flesh in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Anyone who did not do that was proclaiming a different Jesus. Let’s gather together and learn more about the incarnation and how that impacts us in the 21st century.
