This coming Sunday we will be gathering for worship at 9am on “The Barge”. We will be focusing our time on Acts 2.1-13. In this passage we learn that the Holy Spirit comes upon the disciples and they begin speaking in other languages. And all of these languages spoke of God’s deeds of power. In the Lord’s Supper we understand that the Holy Spirit is present in this sacred meal. The Holy Spirit enables us to be united around this holy meal so that we can be the body of Christ for the benefit of the world. When the Holy Spirit comes upon us we are different and we speak differently. Let’s gather together so that we can learn more about this unity around our common-union.
