This coming Sunday we will be gathering together on “The Barge” for worship at 9am.  We will be focusing our time on Acts 2.37-47 and how we experience God’s grace as we gather together in small groups.  You can see in this passage that after the day of Pentecost that the disciples would gather together and “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers” (Acts 2.42).  This is how the early church conducted the life of the church —— it was through this interaction and the intentional act of gathering.  We experience grace in gathering together and being devoted to that gathering.  In that we can know that our sisters and brothers in Christ will hold us up when we have no strength, and we can hold others up when they experience the same.  This is true fellowship and this is what it means to be the body of Christ.  Let’s gather together this Sunday and learn more about how we experience God’s grace in the gathering.
