This coming Sunday we will be gathering for worship on “The Barge” at 9am. We will continue our focus on Luke 15.11-32. This time we will focus on the reality of the situation for the father in the story of the prodigal son. The father celebrates the youngest son’s return by saying: “let us eat and celebrate; for this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found!” The reality for the father was one of acknowledging that his son was lost and the relationships was dead — but upon the son’s return things have changed. All are invited to come and learn more about the reality of the father.
